Routing, Distance & Rating Tools
Cogent’s Routing & Rating products offer dynamic rail rating and fuel surcharge calculation, routing/mileage computation, and integration components with APIs for development.
VisiTrak
Visitrak is a comprehensive, web-based rail tracking and fleet management system. It automatically processes trip and sighting messages to provide accurate equipment status, ETA and performance/transit statistics. Additional functionality includes inventory replenishment planning, dwell calculations, BOL generation, and fleet sizing calculations.
Inbound Rail Manager
The Rail Manager module provides management tools to track inbound cars to receiving and transfer facilities, spot and unload, communicate empty BOLs and switch instructions, measure dwell/demurrage and report product inventories for customers. These tools can be integrated with scanner technology and also with Visiship TMS to monitor rail-truck inventory draw down and replenishment planning. Cogent’s Inbound Rail Manager is ideal for terminals managing ethanol and for bulk transfer facilities.
